Dimapur, May 8, 2013: Rally on total sanitation campaign was organised by Suruhuto Town Students’ Union under the sponsorship of WSSO, PHED at Suruhuto town on April 20.
Adhoc Town Council Suruhuto, chairman Shivikhu Shikhu was the special guest of the rally. Er G Mughalu, SDO, PHED Zunheboto division spoke on communitisation, its target and the steps to be initiated in the future.

Dimapur, Apr 27, 2013: A Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) exercise was carried out in six villages across Nagaland aimed at data collection and analysis, to foster changes in the rural areas with regards to water and sanitation.

Dimapur, Sept. 11, 2012: Department of social welfare in collaboration with the department of science & technology government of Nagaland under science & technology for women conducted a one-day workshop on health and sanitation in Tokiye ICSD Project, Zunheboto on September 7.

According to an official bulletin, the department of social welfare implemented programmes like ICDS that deals directly with children below 6 years, pregnant and lactating mothers and adolescent girls.

Dimapur, April 18, 2012: A workshop on School Sanitation and Hygiene Education, sponsored by the Water Sanitation Support Organization (WSSO), PHED, was held at Tuensang on April 17 at CKS Hall Tuensang with T Mhabemo Yanthan, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, as the chief guest. In his address, the chief guest T Mhabemo Yanthan congratulated the department for organizing such a wonderful and important programme for the people of Tuensang district. He also conveyed his deepest gratitude for the SULABH Team who has come from Delhi to Tuensang for the programme.

Kohima, April 16, 2012: Several Churches, colonies within Kohima town and villages along the NH 29 conducted mass social work Monday to clean up the piles of garbage, mainly in view of the ensuing NBCC platinum jubilee.

In Kohima , Meriema village, Rüleizou colony, Mao Baptist Church,Tangkhul Baptist Church, Konyak Baptist Church, Peraciezie Baptist Church besides  several other colonies conducted mass garbage cleaning works.
